Hi Friends!!

The holidays are behind us and we're settling back into our regular routines, and hopefully for you, that includes a bit of creative time here and there!  You are in for a treat with the new release from The Greetery and I think you're gonna love a lot of the new products that are coming out this week!!  You can shop them all on Friday!

I have to say I so enjoy crafting for the holidays, but goodness, I really love it when January rolls around and we move on to other things in the craft department!  Haha!  It's just fun to change it up and work with a really fresh and cheery color palette!  I had a ball creating for this release and I can't wait to tell you all about these cards!

First up is this little charmer....oh my, where do I even begin?!  So much goodness, from so many different new products all on one card!  Let me break it down for you....we'll start at the front with the top layers and work our way down.  Sound good?

I started out with the new Pretty Postmarks stamp set, to create these DARLING little postage stamp clusters!  I LOVE them!!!  You stamp the outer frame on each stamp, and then you can stamp the center images!  And of course that means that you can stamp everything in the same colors or all different colors!  Totally up to you!

I also used the new Signed & Sealed With a Kiss set, to create the pretty florals tucked in around the stamps.

I tucked all of those cute die cuts in this fun little envelope die cut I made with the new Signed & Sealed stamp set, and added this sentiment from Signed & Sealed With a Kiss.

For those of you who follow me on Instagram, I've got a little color process video I'll be sharing today, featuring this card!  I get requests often, about how I make the choices I do when working with color!  So I've taken your requests to heart, and as I was creating for this month's release, I filmed several short little process videos that I'll be sharing with you in my Stories on Instagram this week!  The first of which, is regarding the specific placement of those stamps in the envelope you see here!  I hope you'll join me on Instagram as I share some of my thoughts behind how I decide what goes where, as well as some other tips for you this week!  You've asked and I'm hopeful that these short little videos will help you to grow in your own use of color when crafting (and beyond!)!

Behind the focal point, I stamped my own background using a fun new rubber background stamp called Windowpane Plaid, as well as a pretty floral that you'll hear more about tomorrow!  Can't wait!

That white layer, is adhered to a kraft layer that was die cut with one of the new Postal Frames dies, and all of that is popped on to the front of a white card base.

Next up is another of those adorable stamp clusters.....I can see myself tucking those on so many different types of cards and I love that you can create your own stamps in virtually any color combo you can dream up!  I went monochromatic here! I just love them!  Behind them, I tucked more of those Signed & Sealed With a Kiss die cuts, and another Postal Frames die -- this one, smaller than the one I used on the previous card.

On the background of the Postal Frames die cut, I stamped some text from Pretty Postmarks, as well as some of the postmark-building images.

Again, on the background of the card base, I stamped a pretty floral that you'll get all the details on tomorrow.  I LOVE it for subtle-but-beautiful backgrounds like this!

Ok, one more for you.....this one shows another fun way to use the Signed & Sealed envelope die cut and stamp set, with a different stamp set.  In fact, you probably have florals from your own stash that you can do something similar with!  I cut apart a large floral die cut -- details tomorrow -- and tucked part of it in the envelope and part of it behind the envie.

I stamped the envelope with the outline from Signed & Sealed, as well as one of the little patterns for inside the flap.  And then, I used the little tag die from the set, and stamped the little frame and sentiment, to tuck behind the envelope.

Again on the background here, you can see that I used the new Windowpane Plaid.  Note that it's a straight plaid and when lined up with the edges of the card front, would cover the whole thing.  But you know me....I sometimes march to the beat of my own drum.  Haha.  I like it best turned on a diagonal!  So fun!
