Hey, Friends!  Back for day 2 of Merry Makings new release previews at The Greetery!  Today's projects are fun ones!!

First up, is the darling Destination North Pole set!  How fun is that "North Pole" sentiment?!!!  Oh my word, so stinking cute and I LOVE the fonts used in this set!  To start out, I used the previously released Destination Rectangle Map die, to cut out the background from sparkly glitter card stock!  GAH!  Doesn't it just give the perfect frosty, icy, snowy backdrop for the North Pole?!  Haha!

I die cut three of the sweet little floral image from the set, as well as the little North Pole sign, and adhered them with foam adhesive.  I placed the North Pole at the top, by the little circle on the map, and positioned all the florals to accent the sentiment.

The map is adhered flat on the card front, and everything else is popped up with foam adhesive, to give it all lots of dimension.

Such a fun card!  This would work for any loved one in your life, grown up OR little!!

One more for today.....this one features the new Snowflake Soiree stamps, dies and stencils!

I started out by using the stencil set on the card front.....there are four stencils I used at the top, along with four blue inks, to color all the snowflakes.  Then, I used the border stencil to cover the snowflakes up, so I could blend some ink below the snowflakes.

I die cut the snowflakes and the sentiment from sparkly glitter paper, and used ink to blend that dark blue color on the layer behind the sentiment!

PRO TIP: Want your die cuts to be perfectly color matched to your card designs?  Just blend the color on with some ink and a blending brush!  Saves you from having to have all the colors of card stock, and guarantees a perfect color match every time!

I added some clear and white enamel dots to the centers of the snowflakes, and even stacked two die cuts for the large one on the right, using foam adhesive between the layers to give it some lift!  Paper that's already sparkly makes this super fast and easy!

PRO TIP: If you don't have sparkly paper on hand, you can achieve a similar look with a glue pad or some spray adhesive and glitter!
