Morning, friends!! Who's ready for some fresh air?! Seems like this new Fresh Air collection from the Greetery, couldn't have come at a better time, what with so many people stuck inside at the moment! The Lord always knows what we need and I love when He gives us sweet little blessings like this, just when we need it. Might seem like an insignificant little thing, but it's things like this, that remind me that He SEES us and KNOWS what we're going through. Love that!
Anyway, more pretty new products to share with you today! I had SO much fun making that window card, so lets start with that one today, shall we?
I used the new Fresh Air stamps and dies, to cut out and stamp all the pieces here. Y'all, I'm telling you what, if you stamp all your pieces first, when you start putting that window scene together, it's pure magic! Each piece I added to the scene, helped it to all look a bit more realistic, until it finally just came ALIVE! So much fun!!
PRO TIP: This is one of those times when you're gonna want to use adhesive strategically. In this case, I only adhered the top of the curtain, so it could pop out of the window freely. I also only adhered the flowers on the side of the window, at the bottom, so they could climb up and onto the shudder. And as for that white open window frame, I just put a bit of liquid glue on the left side of the frame and then pulled the window open gently, while I held the glue side in place for a minute.
For that brick work, I used a gray ink topped with a brown ink and man, I think the bricks are really just the perfect finishing touch!! The sentiment is also from the Fresh Air stamp set.

One more for today! For this one, I used the new Budding Beauties: Spring stamps and dies, to make that pretty pile of florals. I wasn't too worried about what the "proper" colors of all those blooms are. I just stamped them all to coordinate, since I knew I was gonna be layering them up. I piled them on top of a Cozy Cup Coaster die cut.
PRO TIP: Remember that YOU ARE THE DESIGNER!! You are allowed, sweet friend, to take some creative liberties with your color choices!! Yes, baby's breath may be white in real life, but when YOU are creating, give yourself permission to think outside the box a bit! (HUGS!)
I used that fun Painterly Stripes background stamp here, and thing it sets off those florals perfectly!
For the sentiment, I used another from Fresh Air, and stamped it on one of the banner die cuts from the Sentiment Suite: Basics die set.
PRO TIP: Remember to pay attention to tiny little details, like the tulip leaves, when placing a sentiment! I could have easily just plopped the sentiment on top of the whole pile, but by tucking it under those leaves and letting them drape over the sentiment just a tad (not enough to make it hard to read!), it adds some additional interest and makes the flowers a bit more realistic!
