Hey there!! Back again for more Greetery goodness! All of these new goodies will be available Friday morning at 10am EST!
We're focusing on florals today, so you know I'm loving today's products and the things I got to make with them!! Let me show you!!
First up, gah! How fun is this little set! Again, just like yesterday, these are perfect for sending a bit of cheer in the mail to someone!
I'm loving this light pink and bright red combo!
I used the Addressed die to create a landing spot for my sentiment. The "sending" is from the new Sentiment Starters die set. So that my die cut words would perfectly color coordinate with my stamped letters, I just blended red ink on some white card stock first, and then die cut the word "sending". No need for the perfect matching colored card stock this way, and you can be certain the colors will match exatly!
For the letters, I used the new Alpha-Buds Slim Backer Dies, and stamped them using the Alpha-Buds Slim stamp set. How fun is this?! You can stamp your letters and the little flowers and leaves in any color combo you can dream up!
Of course, I used the same color combo on the second card, but just flipped all of the colors to the opposite of the first card. I also changed this one up to say "sending joy"!
Another little thing I did differently, is on those JOY letters. Notice that I used the new Alpha-Buds Slim Details Dies, to cut out the little flower bits and then glued that on top of the Alpha-Buds Slim Backer "joy" die cuts. There's a reason I did this one this way! On the previous "LOVE" die cuts, the green leaves pop on the lighter colored pink letters. However, when the leaves were stamped on top of a bright red, their green color got a bit lost and muddied.
PRO TIP: Using the die cut accents when your letter are a bolder color, allows those flower bits to still really POP!
As for the background on both, I used a new red rubber background stamp called Fresh Floral Background! You could do a lot of fun ink blending on this background, however I decided to keep it simple and stamp a solid pink one and a solid red one, and I love how they look! And they're so easy! Just imagine a whole rainbow of these backgrounds!!!!

Ok, so I'm sure I don't have to tell you I'm in love with these cards. Haha! They're so FUN!
This, my friends, may look like that same background stamp above, but it's not! THIS was made with the new Print Shop: Fresh Floral stamps & stencils set!!!
So to start out, I used the three stencils to stencil on the leaves and flowers. Just grab your ink blending brushes and blend on the ink, and this part is done in minutes! Then, I went back in with the companion stamp set and stamped on the additional flower details....see them there on the flower bases, the stamens and the leaves?
PRO TIP: Keep things interesting -- but also easy!! -- when stenciling and stamping backgrounds such as these, by utilizing a single color combo, but flipping the colors around on each one! Notice that my cards are the same colors, but the first one has large pink/red flowers, while the second one in the set, has large yellow flowers and I used the pink & yellow as the smaller accents.
So, you can also use the Fresh Florals stamp set and coordinating dies, to create die cut flowers! I did that for my focal point and put them on some tags cut with the Speed Tagging die.
I used a sentiment from Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You and one from Sentiment Suite: Thank You.
PRO TIP: Now is a really great time to think about making thank you cards. As things get crazier around us, there have already been so many amazing kindnesses being shown, even just to Bartley and me....but I've also seen them happening all over Instagram. Having some thank you cards on hand, makes it really easy to send some thanks when someone does something nice for you. You know, like when they give you a roll of toilet paper or something! Ha!
To say I had fun making this pretty pile would be an understatement!
