Morning, friends!!  I've got a FUN post for you today!

I've long admired The Stamp Market for their stylish products and for their design sense in everything from their clever product designs to their darling packaging (have you SEEN their cutie-patootie ink pads?!) right down to their web design and classic logo! They have the cheeriest color collection around and so many really pretty stamps and dies! They clearly have great taste at The Stamp Market and it shows in everything they do! So when I had the opportunity to work with some of these beauties for myself, I jumped at it!

With three beautiful floral stamp sets to work with, I did what I love to do...I stamped a big pile of images from each set. Then the next day, I set out to create a card from each set, and then used all of the leftovers together, to make two more mix-and-match cards. That's the great thing about florals....particularly ones that are designed really well. You can mix and match them to create so many beautiful combinations and this flexibility just gives you the opportunity to get so much more bang for your stamping buck!

In light of everything that's been going on in our world, when I sat down to create these cards, bright & cheery colors just seemed to be the only way to go! I hope these cards inspire you to make something beautiful to brighten your own day. I hope they inspire you to send one of your handmade beauties to a loved one, to brighten their day. And when you see these, I hope they bring you some joy...some hope...and some cheer. We could all use every bit of that, we can get right now!

Let me tell you about what I made....

So this first card features the Handpainted Rose stamp set and dies, paired with the Modern Messages sentiment set.  I share this one with you first, because I LOVE THAT SENTIMENT!  Haha!!  Seriously, that sounds exactly like something I would say in real life!  Putting it on a card is just too fun!

The flowers in this set are gigantic -- in the best way!   I Literally only used three flowers on this card -- I'm tricky!! -- and look how full and lush it looks!

PRO TIP: When building floral clusters such as these, place your first few largest flowers and trim off the edges.  USE THOSE BITS you trimmed off, to tuck in here and there behind other blooms, to create a fuller look, without having to stamp more flowers!  It looks like I have two flowers at the top of this card, and three at the bottom.  But really, I trimmed off quite a bit of the red flower, and tucked it into the bottom cluster.  And I trimmed off a bit of the pink flower and tucked it in at the top!  Those extra little bits are what really makes the card more detailed and therefore, more interesting!

Next up, I had to use that fun Scripty Hello Die!  I die cut four of them and stacked them up for lots of dimension.  Spray adhesive (linked below) makes such quick work of gluing the layers together!!

I used a few blooms from the Modern Floral set for this one.

SECRET: This floral set is my fave!!  Don't tell the other florals!  Haha!

PRO TIP: Let a few of your die cut images overlap with a giant sentiment like this, to help anchor it into the design.  This way, it doesn't look like it's randomly floating in space on your card!

Ok, so this one's a fun card because, you can make it like this with a horizontal orientation like you see above, ORRRRRR......

You can flip it vertically and use it this way!!  Which way do you like it the best????  I'd love to hear!

Side note: Man, is it just me, or does this one sort of remind you of a seed packet???  GAH!  I love that!

Ok, so this is one of the mix and match cards that has a little bit of all three stamp sets on it!  I took a panel of white card stock and covered it with the blooms, and then trimmed the flowers off all the edges and popped it up on a white card base, with foam adhesive.  Really fun, really easy, REALLY cheery!

Here's another mix-and-matchy!  See what I mean about florals that are really smartly designed?!  You can barely tell which ones are from each set!  They work seamlessly together!

Last one for today.....this one features the Market Florals stamp set.

PRO TIP: To bring out a bit more pink besides just those tiny pink blooms, I blended a bit of pink onto the background!  This helps balance out all the warm tones, and also helps those little pink flowers make sense, as the only other pink on the card!

Also, how great is this sentiment?!!  So like something I would actually say, and also, so perfect for right now with everything going on in the world!!!

Because I'd done all the stamping the day before, when I sat down to create these cards, I was able to whip out five before lunch!  I love that!

So tell me, have you shopped at The Stamp Market before?  If so, what have you gotten?  I'd love to hear what your favorites are!  I'm adding a few of my favorites below, that are totally on my wish list!  They have cute extras like gems and washi and super pretty papers!!  And I can't wait to get my hands on some of their inks!

If you haven't ever had the pleasure, I hope you'll pop over to The Stamp Market and check them out!  I think you're in for a real treat!  Besides their store, which is full of so many pretty things to create with, they also have a very inspiring blog and Instagram account!  And as if all of that isn't enough, I'm happy to tell you that the owner, Amy, is a dear!  I love, LOVE being able to recommend a small shop for you to support, that I have the utmost respect for and have loved working with!

If you pop over, I hope you'll tell them I sent you!

Wishing you a creative day, friends!

Much love to you!
